These requirements and rules are to help you have a safe and enjoyable time with your rental.  

1.   Your are responsible for the boat or waverunner you rent.   A Scratch and Dent form is filled out by the renter and rentee prior to renting and any damages or missing equipment is the responsibility of the renter.   The same Scratch and Dent Form will be used for the return inspection.  

2.   No refunds for early returns.  

3. You must observe all buoys and No-wake zones.   Operate the boat at idle speed whenever you are within 100 feet from any boat dock.   Approach dock slowly and with caution.   Coming into docks at too high of speed can result in injury and/or damage.  

4.   Only pull one tube or skier at at time, (and only with approved boats.)

5.   RENTALS MUST BE RETURNED ON TIME.     Get to the rental office 20 minutes before your rental time.   If you have to wait for members of your party it will be on your rental time.   If we hold you up we will do our best to give your your full time.   LATE RETURNS will be fined.   $25 for every 15 minutes you are late.   If you are more than 30 minutes late you will be charged $50. for every 15 minutes you are late.   GETTING LOST IS NO EXCUSE.   You are required to stay aware of your surroundings when boating.   Take note of the time and watch for landmarks.   We have free maps available.  

6. If you have a mechanical breakdown you must call us immediately.   If you have caused the breakdown due to operator error you will be charged $75.00 per hour to come get you.   (Plus any repair charges.)

7.   Pay attention follow directions on operation and driving and you should have a great time.

8.   All trash must be removed when you return.   This includes spills!   A $25 clean up charge will be made if the boat is returned dirty.

9.   Children   7 and under must wear a properly fitted life jacket at all times.   Anyone with poor swimming skills is encouraged to alwayswere their life jacket.   Life preservers are for emergencies not for play.

10. Do not sit on the gunnels or the back of seats.   Broken seats are expensive and big waves can cause injury when not properly seated.  

11. Always turn the engine off when someone is getting in or out of the water.   The propeller can cause serious injury.   Never attempt to get in or out of the water with the boat in Neutral.

12. For EMERGENCY HELP: stand at the front of the boat and cross your arms and raise paddle over your head.

13.   Always take your cell phone (two phones are even a better idea).

14. Do not leave ropes or fenders (bumpers) in the water or over the sides while underway.   Remember to gather all ropes and fenders when leaving a dock.   Renters are responsible for lost fenders and ropes.

15. Always put the orange flag out when someone is down in the water.   (skiers, tubes).

16. ALWAYS HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER.   BWI is expensive.
